Walkabout is the seventh in the quilt block series and we have used traditional European motifs to create another stunning design. The companion designs are Southern Stars, The Dreaming, Terra Australis, Mount Coo-tha, The Min Min and Lightning Ridge.

Walkabout is the rite of passage where male Australian Aboriginees would undergo a journey and live in the wilderness for a period as long as six months. In this practice they would trace the paths, that their people's ceremonial ancestors took.
